With just two days to go for the release of Petta and Viswasam, it is a hard fought battle in social media and in cinema halls between fans of Rajinikanth and Ajith. Hectic action was seen between the makers of both Petta and Viswasam to get adequate screens for their movies. Theatre lists were drawn up and bookings began. As confusion still prevails for the early morning shows, they opened tickets fro 7.30 am shows for both the film across theatres. They were sold out for both the movies in a hour.
Meanwhile posters and banners were erected everywhere and celebrations began across Tamilnadu. As far as Chennai and suburbs are concerned, Viswasam got a decent number of screens than Petta, while in many districts Petta got more. Interestingly both the movies have garnered big opened in the form of advance bookings. Wait and watch for 10 January. More to unfold. Petta is directed by Karthik Subbaraj and has Trisha and Simran as heroines. Music is by Anirudh. Viswasam directed by Siruthai Siva has Nayanthara playing heroine. Music is by D Imman.
